RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Project Manager - GIS Geospatial for a contract hybrid (onsite and remote) role. This is a twelve-month contract assignment with possibility of extension. In person interviews are required and some onsite work is required at a downtown Phoenix location.

Summary:

A local municipality is undergoing a major GIS transformation, migrating its existing Geometric Network (GN) for water, sewer, and storm drain infrastructure to ESRI's Utility Network (UN). This initiative is designed to improve system functionality, enhance data quality, and enable advanced analytics. We are seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead the technical execution of this migration and serve as the primary liaison between the municipality and ESRI's support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and refine the detailed migration plan
• Validate Proof of Concept and Utility Network implementation
• Oversee updates to APIs and GIS applications
• Deliver validation reports, training manuals, and project documentation
• Provide oversight and guidance to the GIS applications team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of technical GIS experience
• Strong knowledge of GIS applications and modules
• Local candidates only - must reside in the Phoenix metro area at the time of submission
• In-person interview availability
• Start Readiness -must be able to begin within 2 weeks of offer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior leadership or team management experience
• Experience with GIS migrations, especially to Esri's Utility Network

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
