Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, responsible Software Engineering intern to join our growing organization! You will follow a structured program, learning how our organization operates and contributing to our mission, vision, and values. As the intern, you will write real software and collaborate with a select group of experienced software development engineers who will guide you on projects that matter to our customers.
As an intern, you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. You will have the opportunity to influence the evolution of the technology of NeuroStar and help with critical projects early in your career. Your design, code, and critical thinking ability will contribute to solving complex technical challenges in the areas of web development, cloud technologies, automation, optimization, scalability, and security - just to name a few.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and bring innovative solutions to Neuronetics.
Participate in the software development lifecycle of our product including, but not limited to, analyzing field reported issues; development of automated tests; performing unit, integration, and system level testing; and participating in design and code reviews.
Work closely with requirements authors and internal/external software development teams

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: (list skills required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position)
Knowledge of C# and the .NET framework
Knowledge of Visual Studio
Knowledge of SQL Server database design and optimization
Able to work with members of the software development team to solve problems quickly
Strong communications skills
Education and Experience: (specify the minimum acceptable level of education, experience, and certifications necessary to be able to do the job efficiently)
Working toward Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Software development and testing
Familiarity with electro-mechanical and software concepts and usage
