Job Description
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support operational excellence across its facilities. This role is responsible for implementing process optimization strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and applying Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals and operational strategy.
- Provide teams with the tools, training, and support needed to execute improvement projects successfully.
- Guide team members in the practical application of Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities based on business needs and performance data.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Foster open communication across departments to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports, analyses, and project documentation.
- Optimize the use of personnel and resources to maximize productivity.
- Encourage a culture of ownership and accountability among team members.
- Promote teamwork and integrate team-based approaches into daily operations and project execution.
- Travel up to 15% may be required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or process improvement role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, business publications, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficient in writing technical reports, procedures, and business correspondence.
- Skilled in presenting information to diverse audiences including leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, including variance analysis, sampling theory, and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma principles, including control charts, root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, and process capability.
- Must be able to achieve Six Sigma certification (if not already certified).
Additional Skills:
- Mentor junior team members and support internal training initiatives.
- Lead or assist in Six Sigma training sessions.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

- Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when required.
