Our client's corporate communications team manages global public relations, internal communications, social media and social impact. Our client is looking for a PR professional with experience in public relations, social media, writing and buzz marketing to join their team to help to grow their product PR initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, selfmotivated, organized and detail-oriented with a passion for story telling.
Description: This PR Manager will be responsible for coordinating with teams in the US and internationally, helping devise and execute PR and Influencer Marketing initiatives, monitoring news and buzz coverage, tracking earned media value, writing internal reports and PR copy, creating presentation decks, and helping to manage relationships with external partners. They will partner closely with the Product Marketing team and be expected to understand and memorize indepth technical information on our clients products.
Qualifications: - A minimum of 6 years experience in public relations or journalism with at least 3 years of in-house PR experience.
- Experience managing agencies (international agency management is a plus).
- Has strong relationships with media and influencers across technology, entertainment, sports and/or fashion/beauty.
- Possess a positive team-player attitude and be passionate about consumer technology.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled at Keynote and Numbers with ability to produce high-quality deck presentations.
- Understands media value and familiar with tracking platforms
- A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently (both domestically and internationally).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75 to $80/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
