• The Pulmonary Medicine Division is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join the Division to augment the staff. Division provides comprehensive pulmonary care for patients referred to the health system, including critical care, sleep, allergy immunology, interventional pulmonary medicine, and general pulmonary medicine. Four BC physicians are in the division and one pulmonologist is also boarded in Sleep and another in Allergy / Immunology.
• Interventional training, including EBUS would be desirable but not required. Inpatients will be seen at 260 bed not-for-profit community hospital located in State College, Pennsylvania.
• Call for pulmonary consultation every 4th weekend (24 hr hospitalist coverage).
• Outpatient and inpatient care, practice critical care optional
• New 8-bed sleep lab
• Interventional pulmonary procedures including electromagnetic bronchoscopy, bronchial thermoplasty, routine bronchoscopy on site
• Pulmonary function testing
• CT scanning and PET/CT on site
