Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Trinitas Medical Center needs a locum ASAP. Ongoing locum coverage needed at Trinitas Medical Center. This is a 40 hour per week position which includes coverage in Labor and delivery (12-24 hours In-house shifts in addition to Women’s Health Center (Clinic coverage 8 hours per shift) and Private OB/GYN Practice (8 hours per shift). There is also an opportunity to perform GYN surgery, either open, laporoscopic or robotic.Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes:ED OB/GYN emergencies, GYN surgery, office procedures (Colpo, Endometrial bx, vulvar bx etc.)Description of Work Assignment:Labor and Delivery coverage including ED Consults when indicated, GYN surgery, office procedures (Colpo, Endometrial bx, vulvar bx etc.)Location of Work Assignment: Trinitas Regional Medical CenterBreakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days As scheduled (1-2 days per week, 8 hours)Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours 12-24 hour shifts L&D,which are In-house. 8 hours in clinic settingOn call? NoPatient Load L&D (depends on census) Clinic 30-35 pts per dayBoard Status Requirement (BC/BE) MUST BE BCIs there additional support staff? CNM, APN’s, RN, MA, US Techs, MFM 3 days per week in offices. L&D- CNM’s 24/7, Neo 24/7, Anesthesia 24/7, residentsIs the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? As aboveAre there mid-levels? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for mid-levels? yesEMR System? L&D – EPIC; GEIs the Clinic EMR Different from the Hospital EMR? EPICAdditonal questions: •The job description mentions 12–24-hour Labor & Delivery shifts and 8-hour clinic shifts, with no call required. However, our understanding is that Labor & Delivery often implies being on call. Could you please clarify this? Once their shift is over , they are never called in•Additionally, will the provider be expected to cover both clinic and L&D on the same day? Some providers choose to do an eight hour clinic shift and then a 12 hour L&D shift at their own choosing. Not required
