\n \n\n \nThe role you’ll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThis position contributes to the goals of the department by providing quality MRI services to those patients from infancy through geriatrics undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Imaging Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures and addresses patient concerns. Produces quality magnetic resonance imaging of specific areas as required by the departmental protocols.
\n \n\n \nThe value you’ll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \n· Performs quality MRI studies upon orders of licensed practitioner
\n \n· Verifies physician order prior to scanning
\n \n· Checks with physician, floor RN, Radiologist if clarification of orders are needed
\n \n· Always uses two types of patient identifiers (name and date of birth) matched with arm band
\n \n· Verifies patient history and reviews patient history sheet before scanning patient
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
\n \n\n \n· High School Diploma
\n \n· 0-2 years’ experience
\n \n· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\n \n· Must hold state license where applicable
