Job Description

Functions and Responsibilities of the Position Plans and executes logistical aspects of:AADSM in-person educational events, such as room sets, catering, A/V, registration, signage, travel, housing, exhibits, and on-site management.AADSM virtual meetings, webinars, and online education programs using platforms such as Zoom, Oasis Learning Management System, Cadmium, and others. Promotes exhibit and sponsorship packages and corresponds with exhibitors. Acts as primary liaison to speakers and committees communicating information about deadlines, presentation materials, and logistics. Provides excellent customer service to members, attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Collaborates with internal departments to ensure AADSM educational events are effectively promoted. Manages timelines and budgets. Prepares post-event evaluations, reports, and analytics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Maintains knowledge of continuing education requirements for dental professionals. Some travel is required with this position, which may include weekends.Required Experience and Abilities Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and prior work experience One to three years related experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal relationship skills Strong planning and organizational skills with great attention to detail; prior project management experience Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAdditional Skills Preferred, Not Required Nonprofit medical or dental association experience Prior experience with event registration, event management, or learning management systems Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)What We Offer:Conveniently located off of I-355 and I-88 in Lisle (south of the Morton Arboretum), we have a business casual work environment, hybrid work schedule with up to two work from home days a week and a multitude of benefits including medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance; a generous retirement plan; and competitive PTO program.
