**Responsibilities**
Act as a liaison between English and non-English speaking and/or hearing guests, staff and patients by providing interpreter services.
+ Listen to, comprehend, and translate oral or written communications from English to another language and vice versa.
+ Translate basic to intermediate communication.
+ Comply with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information.
+ Develop translated forms and educational materials for non-English speaking and/or hearing populations.
+ Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new members of the network language services team.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Certification specializing in Deaf Interpretation preferred.
+ Interpreter preferred.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
