We’re recruiting for a full-time, permanent Medical Director position located just outside of Cleveland, in a vibrant community close to universities, Hopkins International Airport, and all the amenities of the metro area.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while leading a dedicated clinical team within Ohio’s premier provider of community-based behavioral health services—serving more than 26,000 individuals each year through both in-person and telehealth programs.
Position Overview
The Medical Director will provide clinical and operational leadership across psychiatry, addiction medicine, and primary care services. This includes developing policies, standardizing care protocols, supporting accreditation readiness, and ensuring quality improvement initiatives are met.
You’ll coach and mentor physicians, nurse practitioners, and addiction medicine providers while maintaining a small, active patient caseload to model best practices in compassionate, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
MD or DO, Board Certified in Psychiatry (required)
Additional certification in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
State DEA registration required
Proven experience in policy development and care standardization
