Are you a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant who thrives in providing exceptional care? We're seeking a team member for a long-term, full-time (40 hours/week) position in our front and back office.

We are a primary care leader with a reputation for exceptional, patient-centered care and advanced in-house diagnostics. To support a growing referral volume we need to add to our medical assistant-operated Fibroscans an in-house ultrasound technician for the Fibroscans.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a highly reliable, entry-level ultrasound technician to perform Fibroscan studies in a modern clinical setting. You’ll play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality scans that support early disease detection and patient education.

What We Offer Our Patients:
We offer a comprehensive range of preventive care services, including early detection of diabetes, liver fibrosis, heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and cancer.
We are the first primary care in Northern California providing Fibroscan liver fibrosis ultrasounds.

Our practice was the first in the world to offer the Galleri early-cancer-detection blood test.

We introduced GLP-1 medications for weight control in 2018.
We are committed to addressing the specific heart disease prevention needs of South Asian patients who may be overlooked by traditional preventative care programs.
We provide COVID testing, treatment, and vaccinations. We administer over 2500 vaccines a year.

Additional Information About Our Practice:
Our spacious office is located in an upscale building near El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. The office boasts beautiful landscaping, a bright glass-rooved atrium, and a peaceful water feature near the entrance.
We do not offer gynecology services or pediatrics for children under 18 years old.

What Will You Do?

• Medical Assistants become trained Fibroscan operators.
• Resting energy expenditure testing
• Spirometry
• Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures
• Vitals and rooming patients
• Administering medications
• Maintaining exam rooms
• Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
• Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Scanning and faxing
• Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
• Medical Record entry
• Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments
  

Your Qualifications:

• At least six months of experience with the Epic electronic health record system is strongly preferred.
• You are passionate about preventive and chronic disease care and about providing the most effective treatment for acute medical conditions
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are highly dexterous in operating devices.

Compensation will be based on experience

Pay Scale/Ranges: $22.00-$27.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
