THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Manager, Marketplace Operations plays a critical role in supporting the Director of Operations by driving operational excellence, optimizing marketplace processes, and ensuring seamless vendor and customer experiences. This role focuses on executing strategic initiatives focused on improving operational efficiencies and managing key marketplace functions.


YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

• Operational Execution: Implement and refine marketplace operations strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Seller Onboarding & Compliance: Serve as a key leader in the setup and build of the seller onboarding function, building the necessary processes and best practices that will be adopted by newly acquired sellers onto the platform to ensure adherence to marketplace guidelines and standards
• Performance Monitoring: Provide data-driven insights on marketplace performance (NPS, lead time, seller experience), recommending improvements.
• Process Optimization: Execute operational enhancements, including fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and seller payment processes, in alignment with strategic priorities.
• Inventory & Catalog Management: Maintain marketplace inventory integrity, ensuring accurate listings and optimized supply chain performance.
• Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Coordination: Manage day-to-day 3PL partnerships, ensuring vendors meet compliance and performance standards.
• Customer Service Oversight: Collaborate with the team to improve marketplace customer service processes, driving resolution efficiency and satisfaction.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Strengthen external partnerships by implementing relationship strategies defined by the Director.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather and analyze marketplace data, delivering key operational insights to assist the Marketplace team in strategic planning.
• Issue Escalation & Resolution: Identify operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues ensuring timely resolution.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to implement operational improvements and track effectiveness.

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in related fields, including business, operations management, supply chain; Master’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, or store/warehouse/logistics/production management fields; background in the retail industry will be an advantage
• Proficient in using Mirakl or similar marketplace platforms, as well as relevant tools for catalog management, analytics, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated project management experience across strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, including seller onboarding, product listing, and order management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work.
• Team player who is willing to collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.
• Passionate about e-commerce and excited about the opportunity to help sellers succeed on the platform.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills including attention to detail, ability to operate efficiently in a time-sensitive environment, and strong decision making and

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $125,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
