Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator/Buyer is responsible for day-to-day Logistics, warehousing storage and purchasing duties. This position will be responsible for procuring and tracking PPE, consumables and other purchased material. You will also be responsible for delivering items and personnel to different locations across the north slope. This position will require virtual and one on one training.

- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Development of material requests.
- Entry and processing of purchase requisitions.
- Tracking material receipts.
- Equipment rental activities.
- Ad Hoc report development.
- Weekly entry of CCI materials information related to contract billable information.
- Generate and track CCI equipment rental information and other 3rd party rental equipment related contract billable information for client.
- Assists project supervisor reporting daily, weekly and month end Summary of Costs for client.
- Assist with the development of client RFPs as directed.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate professional skills and abilities.
- Communicate daily status of current projects to the Superintendent to ensure all projects are timely, all materials for projects are on schedule for the on-time delivery date for the execution of said projects and within company standards.
- Comply with all guidelines, policies and procedures established by CCI while on shift, on call or attending meetings.
- Interacts directly with the Superintendents and Supervisors, to ensure that objectives are achieved, potential problems identified, and corrective actions are completed.
- Initiate problem solving when faced with challenges.
- Serve as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.
- Maintain 100% "Compliance Readiness" in all areas of mandatory/regulatory requirements.
- Maintain 100% "Safety Standards and Accountability" in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
- Compliance with HSE Training required.
- Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
- Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
- Participating in safety meetings, work safely, and maintain a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
- Document and record any injury or near-miss incident that may occur while you are working.
- Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA/JHA reviews, pre-job walk downs and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
- Promote and participate in Behavior Based Safety as well as programs that promote continuous improvements (CI).
- Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be deemed unsafe.
- Attend and participate in required meetings, training, exercises and drills.
- Facilitating or participating in CCI safety meetings, work safely and maintain a safe work environment.
- Willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to safety
- Report all incidents immediately to immediate supervisor and HSE Specialist
- Document and record any injury or near-miss incident that may occur.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (access, excel, project, word and outlook).
- Ability to learn and become proficient with CCI's financial systems.
- Ability to work well with others in an environment that includes harsh weather conditions, remote locations.

- Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Required Qualifications: - Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED is
- Two or more years related experience
- A valid driver's license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Current NSTC card required for all North Slope positions
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of North Slope Experience
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Flexibility regarding hours of work is required as needed to meet demands of the job. Position may be reassigned at any time to meet operational objectives.
- Position may be exposed to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the construction site. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
- Position may be working with potentially hazardous materials and wastes.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. - MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet. Frequent walking and standing. Occasional keyboard use, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 30 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
