Job Description

Maintains an orderly and sanitary environment in the Medical Center through the cleaning and distribution of linen. Collects launders folds and sorts linen. Stocks and supplies linen carts. Provides linen services. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $19.39 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Folding linen. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, heat, noise, dust, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
