Job Title: Experienced NY State Licensed Esthetician for upscale, boutique spa in Kingston, NY.

Job Description: Maria Vera Skincare is seeking an experienced Lead Esthetician with several years of professional skincare expertise to join our team three to five days per week, based on client bookings. We are a boutique, upscale spa offering bespoke high-tech, luxury facials in the Hudson Valley, NY.

The ideal candidate will have five to eight years, minimum, of skincare experience as a licensed esthetician, be highly competent in executing skin analyses, extractions, facial massage, and recommending skincare products as well as possessing knowledge of several kinds of exfoliation methods and facial equipment. Candidate must be able to provide a warm, relaxing, results-driven and intuitive treatment for all of our valued clients. This is a position for an individual who wants to grow with our established and expanding company.

Compensation: Maria Vera Skincare offers a highly competitive commission and hourly-based compensation program. (Earning potential is $55.00-$175.00 per hour plus tips when performing hands-on services). Paid training and base salary while building your clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Must show the utmost professionalism, integrity, emotional intelligence and reliability. Clear communication and can-do attitude are a must. Please be a self-starter and take initiative whenever possible.
• Provide information and answer questions about treatments and services with the utmost care and consistency.
• Follow procedures and guidelines in the administration of all treatments. Perform draping policy; refer medical problems to physicians; and only perform procedures as designed in the spa protocols.
• Please be confident with administering client intake forms and understanding contraindications to treatments.
• Proper sanitation, per NY State standards, before, during and after treatment; including Universal Precautions.
• Perform proper client notations (S.O.A.P. notes) in a timely and precise manner.
• Have the ability to customize each session with the client, to meet their needs with impeccable communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate the ability to sell appropriate retail products for each and every client.
• Must be warm and personable with clients and staff. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
