Our work primarily serves municipal water/wastewater utilities, state and local jails, detention/corrections facilities, as well as private clients.We are seeking an entry level electrical and instrumentation engineer to join our team in the Dallas office.Essential FunctionsSupport senior staff in performing industrial control system assessments and prepare preliminary design reports (PDRs)Develop detailed technical documentation such as project plans and specifications, engineering reports, etc.Support senior staff in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC)Support senior staff in witnessing of field acceptance test (FATs) and field inspectionsAbility to travel up to 20%Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringCertification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Ability to take direction effectively and work in a team environmentExperience in water/wastewater preferred, but not requiredExcellent time management skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAutoCAD and Microstation experience preferred, but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be available to work in Dallas, TX*Signature Automation offers our employees the flexibility of working from home one day per week (Monday or Friday only).
