We are looking for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) for a very flexible position in homecare. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as the therapist schedules directly with their own patients, therefore you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The pay and benefits for this Occupational Therapist position are very generous. This Occupational Therapy (OTR) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Both experienced Occupational Therapists and new grad Occupational Therapists are welcome. This Occupational Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. HOME HEALTH CARE OT JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Occupational Therapist must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and a license to practice OT in the state. The Occupational Therapist must also either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- NO EXCEPTIONS! We welcome both experienced Occupational Therapists and new grad Occupational Therapists. We will accept Occupational Therapists with experience (even if clinical/intern experience) in any of the following settings: SNF, Skilled Nursing Facility, inpatient rehab, health and rehab center, Visiting Nurse Association, Visiting Nurse Services, VNS, VNA, Home Health, Homecare, Home Care, Home Healthcare, Home Therapist, Home Visits, rehab center, healthcare center, rehabilitation center, out patient / outpatient, inpatient, assisted living facility, ALF, adult daycare center, hospital, medical center.

You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your salary plus you will get additional pay for mileage, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of home health?
