Our Global Shipping and Logistics Manager is responsible for the global supply chain management of our Racing and Festival event apparel operations divisions, ensuring that goods and materials are moved, monitored, and managed. They oversee a variety of operations, including transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, import and export processes, purchasing, production planning, and customer service. This global logistics manager is a supply chain expert who uses their skills to coordinate essential operations in our business. They are excellent negotiators, organizers, and problem-solvers playing a meaningful role within the event family. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships and performance, leading cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, communicating key supply, cost, and quality issues, planning transportation and distribution routes, partnering with customs and freight forwarders to document and move freight to 22 countries, import and export process creation and optimization, directing fleets, analyzing freight budgets and billing, processing inbound and outbound shipments, supervising warehouse functions, creating optimal receipt, dispatching, and storage procedures, tracking and tracing orders, managing transportation documentation and orders, recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding team members, and various special projects and tasks as needed. Qualifications include a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent experience, 5+ years’ experience in global logistics management, strong knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements, proven ability to optimize logistics and supply chain processes, exceptional collaboration and leadership skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in logistics software and IT systems, and a motivated, problem-solving attitude. Work environment may include loud noise levels, busy environments, drastic temperature climates, and evening/weekend work as required.
