Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript to join our growing development team. In this role, you will work on building and maintaining scalable, serverless applications using modern cloud technologies. You will be responsible for developing both the frontend and backend of web applications using React and Node.js , with a primary focus on delivering robust, high-performance systems based on RESTful APIs.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of applications hosted on AWS, leveraging its serverless infrastructure, including DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and CloudFront. Your experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) under AWS will be essential in streamlining deployment processes and ensuring efficient infrastructure management.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js for backend, and React for frontend.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant RESTful APIs.
• Build serverless applications on AWS leveraging services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Write efficient and scalable infrastructure using AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with proper unit and integration testing.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Strong experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Experience with React.js for building dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway.
• Experience with AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL (highly desirable but not required).
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a DevOps environment, utilizing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Familiarity with additional AWS services such as CloudFormation, ECS, or RDS.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-based applications.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for front-end development.

$146,000 - $170,000 a year

In addition to the above compensation, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
