Job Description
Position: Foreman (Striping) Reports to: Project Manager Classification: Non-exempt / Hourly Compensation: $27 - $33 (based on experience) Date: Jan 2025 Description The Striping Foreman manages and supervises a crew that applies pavement markings, such as lines and symbols, to roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. This role ensures that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specifications.
Essential Functions - Lead and manage a crew to ensure they follow safety protocols and complete tasks according to the project plan
- Follow company and state guidelines for effective, safe, and well-managed work zones
- Ensure quality control
- Read blueprints, interpret plans, and lay striping patterns on pavement surfaces
- Be proficient in using various striping equipment, including paint stripers, parking bumpers, and other specialized tools
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Working on other crews
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities for a crew.
Work Environment This role routinely works outdoors and engages in physically demanding tasks. The employee will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.
Travel This position requires a significant amount of travel to work sites to meet the needs of the business.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, seasonal position. Based on business needs, extended hours, nights, and weekend work may be necessary. While in season, the typical work week is approximately 50-60 hours.
Physical Demands The employee must be able to stand for long periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.

Requirements
Qualifications - Excellent communication and supervisory skills
- Experience in pavement striping
- Knowledge of traffic control regulations
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time
- Self-motivated, dependable, accurate and detail-oriented
- Adherence to the attendance policy
Required Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of Pavement Marking experience required
- Valid Driver's License; CDL is preferred
