Job Description
As a Farm/Ranch Hand, you'll be involved in all aspects of ranch operations. This is a hands-on role that includes working with livestock, maintaining and building fences, operating equipment, assisting with basic mechanic tasks, and supporting seasonal farm and ranch activities.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Livestock Care : Feed, water, and monitor cattle and other livestock; assist with vaccinations and herd movements
Equipment Operation : Operate tractors, skid steers, UTVs, Front End Loaders, Road Grader, Bull Dozer and other farm machinery
Fence Work : Build, repair, and maintain fences pens, water-gaps and gates (barbed wire, pipe, etc.)
Welding: Building fence/pipe pens, repairs on equipment. Wire and Stick
Mechanic Assistance : Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in farm or ranch work and/or equipment operations preferred
Ability to operate (learn to operate) and maintain tractors, implements, and power tools
Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
Comfortable working with livestock, consisting mainly of cattle
Trustworthy, Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
