Job Details
We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with 1+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about family law, have strong litigation skills, and possess the ability to work closely with clients to navigate sensitive and often challenging legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Provide legal counsel and advice to clients in family law matters
Manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Negotiate settlements and work toward resolving disputes in a cost-effective manner
Maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
Stay current on changes in family law and legal procedures
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar in CA
1+ years of experience practicing family law
Strong litigation and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client matters with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with clients in emotionally charged situations
