About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Texas region, with a primary focus on fundraising, external engagement, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional fundraising efforts to secure $15 million annually by 2030, including philanthropic gifts, corporate sponsorships, and public funding. This role requires a senior leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in fundraising, external affairs, or strategy, preferably in the nonprofit, education, or workforce development sectors. The Executive Director will also serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization in Texas, building and stewarding high-impact relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. A deep knowledge of Texas' workforce, economic development, and philanthropic ecosystems is highly preferred. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include developing a multi-year growth strategy, ensuring statewide strategy and policy alignment, and leading a team to monitor and support the organization's performance and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar fundraising portfolios, leading multi-site operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Core competencies for this role include strategic fundraising, business development, cross-team leadership, and a strong commitment to equity and workforce inclusion. The position demands a strong communicator, relationship builder, and ambassador with a passion for advancing economic mobility and racial equity.
