Aerotek's client is looking for an Excavator Operator to join their team in the Waldorf, MD area

Job Description

We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators proficient in operating excavators, loaders, and rollers. The ideal candidate will be adept at backfilling in controlled lifts and capable of carrying gravel and pipe, ensuring the job is well-finished as work progresses.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, and rollers effectively.

• Perform backfilling in controlled lifts.

• Installing underground pipes; water, sewer, storm lines

• Carry gravel and pipe efficiently.

• Ensure the site is well-dressed as work progresses.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience operating excavators and front-end loaders.

• Proficiency with backhoes and dozers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any additional operating experience is a plus.

Work Environment

• Work will primarily be outdoors, as part of a pipe crew in a construction setting.

Pay Rate:

• $26-30/hr depending on relevant experience

Qualified candidates will be given a call within 48 hours of submitting an application

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waldorf, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
