Title: Entry-Level Tax Preparer

Location: Orlando, Florida

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a First-Year Tax Preparer.

Position Overview: As a First-Year Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their tax preparation needs. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and develop a career in tax services. You will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in tax laws, regulations, and our company's processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Market tax services and prospect potential clients daily

2. Conduct client interviews to gather necessary tax-related information.

3. Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns.

4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

5. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.

6. Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries.

7. Collaborate with senior tax preparers and managers as needed.

8. Work efficiently to meet established deadlines during peak tax season.

Qualifications:

1. Must have PTIN upon first date of employment (We'll assist with an easy acquisition)

2. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.

3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills. (Bilingual preferred but not required.)

5. Basic understanding of accounting principles.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

7. Computer proficient; experience with tax preparation software is a plus.

8. Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in tax laws and regulations.

Compensation:

• Starting hourly wage: $16/hour
• Uncapped commission structure based on the number of tax returns processed.
