Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors. Education Requirements :
AS or AA degree in electronics, mechatronics, or military training in electronics.
Experience Requirements / Skills:
Mechanical skills
Demonstrable use of common hand tools.
Electronic skills
Understanding of Ohm's Law and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Capable in troubleshooting PC boards with potentially failed electronics on them.
Use of DVM’s, Power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes.
Programing skills on PC based applications.
Soldering Skills (J-STD-001 Certification)
Building, repairing, and testing electronic devices.
Using soldering tools and technologies on PC boards.
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
Interface with multiple groups within the department to assure efficient flow of information and equipment status.
Interpret and follow written documents such as SOP’s and safety rules.
Familiar with basic operating systems like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
Hours are Mon - Fri, 8am to 4:30pm.
