Salary: $153,000 - 207,000 per year Requirements:

• I require you to have a Top Secret SCI clearance, along with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance + Polygraph if not already possessed.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience is essential.
• I need at least five years of relevant experience with Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in Docker, ElasticSearch, Git, Kubernetes, and software design is a must.
• Proven hands-on experience with building and deploying Elastic Stack infrastructure.
• Successful experience in software design related to Elasticsearch deployments and distributed system architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot Elasticsearch cluster and query performance issues, including working on query optimization with developers and tracing logs for issue tracking.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems, bash scripting, and command line operations.
• Hands-on expertise with build automation tools like Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is also required.

Responsibilities:

• I expect you to design, develop, test, debug, and deploy Elasticsearch clusters and architectures to support large data ingestion, processing, and retrieval.
• You will work with automation tools to create a robust CI/CD pipeline, including tools like Git, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Continuous maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing Elastic systems and platforms will be a part of your responsibilities.
• You should provide guidance to engineering teams on best practices regarding Elasticsearch usage, including indexing and developing with an Elastic backend.
• Writing and updating technical documentation related to system processes and procedures for Elastic stack components and data is essential.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software engineers, data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineering groups will be necessary.
• You will troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
