Job Summary

We are seeking a Design Engineering Manager with a strong background in engineering leadership, product development, and regulatory compliance within the metal manufacturing industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Minimum 5 years of engineering management or supervisory experience
• Project management and R&D experience
• Background in product design, development, and manufacturing
• At least 4 years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of regulatory standards including DOT, ASME, and ISO
• Experience with CAD software (AutoDesk/Inventor) and ERP systems
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience, particularly with sheet metal and large assemblies
• CWI certification preferred
• Understanding of ASME pressure vessels and non-code vessels

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Develop and oversee product design and development schedules within budget constraints
