Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Intern to join the Building Control Systems Wattstopper Team in Carlsbad, CA.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop a deep understanding of the requirements of ioXt certifications.
  • Contribute to ISO 27001 efforts across the company.
  • Support development teams in Security Penetration testing.
  • Track product progress in resolving security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years in a Computer Science or Engineering Field with emphasis on Cybersecurity.
  • Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.
  • Completion of at least one class in Cybersecurity or Information Systems Security.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • A basic understanding of Cybersecurity in IP connected devices such as key management and security vulnerability testing.
  • Strong communication skills must be able to adapt between highly technical audiences and business audiences with ease.
  • Strong organizational skills ability to take a complex set of related activities and identify dependencies.
  • Risk Management be able to identify risks to schedule and security based on vulnerability testing results; identify responsible individuals and follow-up frequently to achieve resolution.
  • Critical Thinking be objective in analyzing situations; stay calm, distinguish between root cause vs. symptoms.
  • Task Management must be able to multitask and prioritize work according to business needs.

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/hourly
