About the Role

The Destination Sales Manager plays a key role in business development, sales, and relationship building within the corporate event and destination management space. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to join a fast-paced and innovative team at Mosaix Group. The position is based in Asheville, NC and involves regional travel 1–2 days per week. Compensation includes salary, profit sharing, and benefits, with all reasonable travel-related expenses covered.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in Asheville, Greenville, and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, CVBs, venues, and corporate clients.
  • Respond to RFPs and manage leads efficiently, schedule client calls and site visits.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Consistently follow up on all leads to close business and meet sales targets.

Client Management & Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.
  • Set clear expectations and timelines for proposals and program delivery.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by aligning services with expectations.

Operational Support & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff of program details.
  • Input and manage program information using tools such as Harvest and Monday.com.
  • Create and maintain organized documentation for each program.
  • Participate in developing annual sales plans and revenue projections.

Industry Engagement & Visibility

  • Represent Mosaix Group professionally at industry events and with local partners.
  • Participate in associations and networking groups to build visibility and generate leads.
  • Stay informed on destination offerings and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in event planning or DMC services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to attend programs outside standard working hours.
  • Strong knowledge of Asheville and surrounding destinations preferred.
