DescriptionPrimary Care Solutions (PCS) is one of the largest contract providers of primary care and behavioral health services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Veteran-led and clinician-managed, we deliver compassionate, expert medical care, establishing personal bonds with our Veterans in our Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's). RESPONSIBILITIES: As an onsite (in clinic) Telehealth Tech, you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans. Office hours are Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm.No evenings, holidays, on call, or weekend work!This is a Full - Time position.Supports patient care delivery via telehealth onsite. This includes setting the veteran up with the telehealth provider, assisting remote provider in exam using peripheral instruments if necessary, setting up for follow up care as needed.Learns to use telehealth equipment and complete studies such as tele-dermatology and teleretinal exams once trained and certified.Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information in patient's electronic medical record.Completes all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit as alerted in the electronic medical record.Obtains medical histories from patients; verifies patient information.Prepares, assists, and accurately completes all forms.Assists on-site providers during examinations and treatment.Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (EKG, injections, blood draws, etc.) as trained and certified.Schedules clinic appointments, patient check-in and/or out of the clinicJOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED Active NCCA accredited certification is required for Medical Assistants.Current and active state Nursing License for LPN interestsGraduate of an accredited certificate programKnowledge of computer systems to include the MS Office SuiteDemonstrate high-quality customer service.
