Job Type: Full-Time 

Pay Rate:

• Associate Driver (1+ years CDL experience) = $23 - $26/hour
• Senior Driver (5+ years CDL experience) = $25 - $28/hour
• If they have Dispatcher experience and would be interested in Dispatching as well as driving = $25 - $28/hour

Estimated Weekly Pay: $850 - $1,040

Schedule: Possible Shift Times (flexibility required). All shifts include working Saturdays and Sundays, with 2 consecutive days off during the week.

• 7:30am-3:30pm
• 10:00am-6:00pm
• 12:30pm-8:30pm
• 3:15pm-11:30pm
• 5 days / week. (35 – 40 hours / week)

 

  Overview:  

 Safely operate a 15-passenger Mercedes Sprinter shuttle van to transport passengers between (3) scheduled stops within San Diego County and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with scanning tickets and loading/unloading luggage
• Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle van.
• Calmly and promptly troubleshoot passenger concerns.

Requirements:  

•  Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) A or B with Passenger (P) endorsement and a clean driving record
• 1 year previous experience as a chauffeur, bus driver, shuttle driver, van driver required.
• Ability to drive safely on the 5 and the 405 in rush hour traffic in addition to the very busy LAX central terminal area, 5 nights a week (this is not an easy drive for those without highway/traffic experience)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers
• Fluent in English for effective communication with passengers.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
