This position supports the Veterans Experience Office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Location 100% virtual. Your residence must be within 60‑minute driving distance to a Veterans Administration facility in Arlington VA, Columbia SC, Murfreesboro TN, Nashville TN, Salt Lake City UT, or Shepherdstown WV. Visitation of the facility is required for training, equipment pickup, and troubleshooting. You are responsible for transportation. Mission Help Veterans in stressful situations find assistance. You must be an excellent communicator with empathy for others. Your mission is not to solve their problem but to connect them to the right resource. Compensation Full‑time $17.75 per hour, 11 paid holidays, and benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, and more. No part‑time or seasonal positions. You Need to Know Extensive training is required; you will record on camera in an interactive classroom environment. Completion of training is mandatory. Minimum six (6) months of consecutive call‑center or contact‑center experience. Positions are staffed 24/7 (shifts 8 am–4 pm or other times). The company seeks long‑term employees; there is opportunity to grow into supervisory roles. Qualifications and Requirements Six (6) months of consecutive call‑center or contact‑center experience. High‑speed wired home internet: minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. Wi‑Fi is not accepted. Work‑at‑home environment that is ergonomically sound, quiet, and free from distractions. Ability to work under pressure and handle escalating or difficult calls. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder who has lived in the U.S. for at least three (3) years. Real‑ID compliant identification required (REAL ID, U.S. passport, or DoD ID). Core Functions and Responsibilities Learn, understand, and explain VA services and procedures. Ask clarifying questions to identify requests for VA services and information. Accurately record details of calls in a timely manner. Select appropriate VA services to meet Veterans’ needs. Maintain confidentiality and confidentiality of caller information. Use and navigate a multi‑screen computer system with CRM applications. Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with VA employees, outside agencies, and the public.
