At Fox's Deli @ The JCC, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality food and beverage.

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Caf Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a love for coffee and food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Caf Attendant, you will be the face of our caf, responsible for ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and answer any questions about the menu. Provide exceptional service to create a welcoming environment.
- Beverage and Food Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to caf standards. Assist in the preparation of pastries, sandwiches, and other food items as needed.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash and credit card payments, and manage the cash register.
-Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf, including tables, counters, and equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee, food supplies, and other essentials. Assist with restocking and placing orders as needed.
-Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment.

**Qualifications:**

-Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a caf or restaurant setting.
-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and address their needs.
-Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
-Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
-Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
-Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 20 pounds as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
