Looking for an exciting career opportunity in the security field? Our rail industry client is currently hiring a safety officer to join our dynamic team at one of our Saint-Laurent sites!

Pay Rate: $25+ DOE 

Location: St Eustache

Shift: All Shift Open (Day, Afternoon, Night and Weekends) 

Weekends- Bonus $100/DAY

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents on a customer's site, ensuring the safety of the customer's property and personnel.

• Conduct periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protective devices and firefighting equipment.

• Maintain order and can act to enforce site rules and guidelines for staff, visitors and premises.

• Control access to the customer's site or facility through the admission process.

• Patrol the site on foot or in the vehicle; check for hazardous conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security breaches, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems and unauthorized persons.

• Protect evidence or incident site in the event of an accident, emergency or security investigation.

• Responding to fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flood, water spill, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, bad weather and other incidents.

• Prepare records and reports as required. Specific tasks may vary and are documented separately.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Valid Security Officer (BSP) licence.

• Valid First Aid Certificate.

• Bilingual - French and English

(Bilingualism is a requirement for this position as it allows effective communication with our diverse clientele, ensuring seamless interaction and understanding between our business and our customers.)

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Computer skills (*Site is highly computerized. *)

• Good physical condition to perform patrols.

• Ability to work at night and travel to the site during this time.
