Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate part time Baker to join our team. Our biggest priorities are - kitchen (specifically baking) experience, GREAT attitudes, problem solving is key, kindness and creativity.

Our management team creates simple and beautiful food and your job is to make sure service runs smoothly, that you give it your all, and contribute to a well run kitchen.

You will assist in food preparation, maintain food safety standards, execute orders for a fast paced service.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and getting ahead on baked goods for our 7 day a week baking program
• We currently have an in house focaccia program we would like to maintain and this means baking off focaccia enough for our sandwich program for the week.
• Staying active and using time well to continuously stay on top of prep during and throughout your shift.
• Maintain clear and good communication with front of house so everyone can serve our customers best.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Create seasonal specials and helping to fill our sweets cooler case.

Skills & Experience

** Kitchen experience is required - ideally 1 year minimum, specifically 1 year of baking experience

• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others.

We anticipate one of the best elements of this role is a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, this is not a role where we require you to be here certain shifts for service, this is about meeting production needs and doing so within a certain allocation of hours, if the best hours are between 6-10am for you, great! 11 - 3, great! Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, great! The emphasis being on the quality of production, organization, and commitment to efficient use of time and a good attitude.
