Job Description
Role: Azure Security Engineer Location: Washington, DC - Day 1 onsite Candidate main responsibilities will be: - Managing Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple platforms to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate and liaise with customer stakeholders/ end users in the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full life cycle.
- Required to meet customers to understand business requirements in detail. Should have adequate business savviness to ask probing questions to understand the exact requirements from the customer.
- Should thoroughly understand the Microsoft stack of products and services, with in-depth knowledge of how components interface with each other.
Candidate should have: - Direct experience of a range services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, PaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking and Azure Security.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.
- Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used.
- Familiar with solution implementation/management, service/operations management, etc.
- Maintains close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills that are required to operate in a global environment.
- It is essential that the candidate has strong, in-depth, and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service ( PaaS ) product such as Azure SQL, App Services, Logic Apps, Functions and other Serverless services
- Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such including Azure AD or AD B2C
- Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights and Log Analytics
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates and deployment automation.
- Azure Best Practices (Subscriptions, security, billing, monitoring, and operations)
