Job Title: CAD Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team in Racine, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models used for manufacturing and construction. This role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to bring design concepts to life using CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and revise detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to create accurate design documents.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and file management systems according to company standards.
• Participate in design reviews, contribute to problem-solving, and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal design and safety codes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or engineering industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and at least one 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
