We’re Hiring: Associate Director / VP, Direct Hire & Contract Staffing

Hybrid – Toronto HQ | Full-Time | Competitive Base + Bonus

Are you a proven recruitment leader ready to scale high-performing teams? We’re hiring an Associate Director / VP to join us as the #2 to our Division Head—owning day-to-day operations across our Direct Hire & Contract Staffing businesses within Banking, Finance, and Technology .

Who You Are

  • 10+ years in recruitment, ideally in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance , with 5+ in leadership
  • Proven success managing teams of 10+ across verticals through inspirational mentoring, coaching, & leadership
  • Experienced in growing or turning around underperforming teams
  • Operationally strong, commercially sharp, and a true team builder
  • Process oriented, adept at maintaining & exceeding metrics
  • Background in mid-to-large recruitment agencies ($5M–$20M+ revenue under management)
  • Recruitment agency experience is a must
  • Superior communications skills and business acumen

What You’ll Do

  • Lead execution across sales, KPIs, and revenue goals
  • Coach, mentor, and manage recruiters and team leads across multiple verticals
  • Oversee both permanent and contract recruitment delivery
  • Build scalable frameworks for training, sales, and performance
  • Partner with the CEO on strategy, succession planning, & expansion
  • Support key client accounts and strategic hires
  • You will lead a team of 15–20, drive divisional performance, and help shape the future of the business.

30-60-90 Day Snapshot

  • 30 Days : Team audit, client introductions, KPI deep dive
  • 60 Days : Launch dashboards, run KPI planning, unblock opportunities
  • 90 Days : Deliver strategic revenue plan, launch new training, finalize succession roadmap

* This position will be from an Associate Director up to VP level, dependent on the experience you bring.
