Barbaricum is seeking a mid-level AI/ML Engineer to support the Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Activity (LEIA) Task Order, following the ongoing Combatant Commands C5ISR - Pacific Operations (C3PO) TO. This team will provide advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning expertise to Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) and its strategic partners, ensuring the development of innovative solutions for multi-mission capabilities. The AI/ML Engineer will design, implement, and optimize AI models, enhancing the effectiveness of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations in a dynamic, multi-domain environment. Responsibilities - Study and Transform Prototypes
- Analyze and adapt data science prototypes into functional models.
- Architect and build machine learning (ML) systems tailored to specific use cases.
- Develop and Implement Algorithms
- Create and deploy suitable ML algorithms and tools for various applications.
- Select Datasets and Data Representation Methods:
- Choose appropriate datasets and methods for representing data to optimize model performance.
- Conduct machine learning tests and experiments to validate model effectiveness.
- Analyze test results and fine-tune models for improved accuracy and performance.
- Continuously train and retrain ML systems as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
Qualifications - Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree with 6-10 years of experience
- Experience with Big Data systems and ETL processes
- Experience designing Machine Language processes
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or MilCloud 2.0
- Applying DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and automating that process
- Experience with multiple coding languages
