Accela Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join our corporate team in Manalapan, NJ . This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys managing the full accounting cycle with precision and efficiency.
What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure proper reporting and compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as healthcare-specific reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, vendors, and leadership teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic financial decision-making.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred, but not required).
• 3+ years of accounting experience , preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
